IPG
Kampus Pulau Pinang.
In 1992 , British built 2 colleges in
Malaya. The first college was in Kota Bahru, Kelantan, called Kota Bahru Teachers’ Training College. The second college
was in Penang, called Penang
Teachers’ Training College. Kota Bahru Teachers’ Training College was closed
and the student teachers moved to
Penang. Then, Penang Teachers’ Training College (PTC) became Malayan Teachers’ Training College. Later, this college
was known as Maktab Perguruan
Persekutuan Pulau Pinang (MPPPP), which is now Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus
Pulau Pinang (IPGKPP).
IPGKPP is located at Combee Hills,
in a beautiful valley, surrounded by big and tall trees.
The trees are as old as over
a hundred years. This institute is located near Georgetown, which is the capital
of Pulau Pinang . It is
just walking distance to Lotus and Udini Mall.
IPGKPP does not lack in facilities, especially
student facilities. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with enough facilities like air-conditioners, study
tables and chairs. Other than that,
there is a big library packed with hard copies of books and latest digital
books for references. There is also a
cafe that sells delicious and finger-licking good food. The prices of the food
are also affordable for student
teachers.
If you
have the opportunity to join IPGKPP , you will meet very special and
interesting people here. The
lectures in this institute are very helpful and friendly. They are also comforting. All the student teachers in
IPGKPP agree that their seniors are supportive and respectful . The seniors are also ever willing to help
their juniors with studies and any other problems. In IPGKPP, you will get trustworthy , reliable and fun
-filled friends.
My promotion will definitely encourage you to come here
to continue your studies. Many memorable
events will take place here, which you will never forget in your life. You will also experience a lot of events that you will cherish every moment in IPGKPP.
